Magdalena Hawajska (Polish) is both artist & singer. For her art and music are intertwined. She paints with music and sings with colors. Though she loves both music and art, her greatest passion is music ...Magdalena has been singing and writing songs since early childhood, participating in song writing contests, jam sessions, recitals, and vocal workshops throughout Europe. For six years she was the soloist for gospel choirs in Krakow (Poland): "Krakow Gospel Choir" and "Joyful Voice" and for two years she was singer in the "Word of Life Gospel Choir" in Hawaii (USA) During those years Magdalena was also the vocalist and song writer for the funky and jazz bands.While studying art in Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, she was also pursuing her music passion by studying under well know vocal coaches R. Michalik, E. Uryga, M. Balata, O.Slawik, K. Mastylo, R. Lynch. She also studied at the Krakow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. These experiences have given her a powerful stage confidence and a foundation to express herself through her music.Since coming to the United States in 2004, she has recorded several of her own songs: My Song, Your Best Is Yet To Come, Again (with Polish version Kolejny Raz, and You Can Move Mountains With Love at studio in Hawaii and in New York. She has also recorded a remake of an American song writer Kelly Bremnan. Right now Magdalena lives and creates her music & art in Krakow, Poland.
