Since it’s creation in 2006, 11:28 has added members and now includes Electric Guitarist and Vocalist Michael Davis, Drummer Derek Powell, Synth/Keyboardist Jason Davis, and Bassist Nate Cook. Ryan Street plays acoustic guitar and provides vocals, as well as harmonica, mandolin, and auxiliary percussion. Jennifer Street plays keyboard and provides vocals.
The name 11:28 comes from the verse, Matthew 11:28, in which Jesus tells those listening to “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.†11:28 believes that true worship is where rest is found for the weary soul.
