My dad was in the United States Air Force. So I moved around alot growing up. I have lived in North Carolina, Illinois, Guam, Japan, Florida, and Tennesse. I tend to be one of those people who can fit in wherever I go. I love getting to meet new people and making new friends.
I love to read. I read books all of the time. This is quite surprising especially to me, considering that I wasn't much of an avid reader growing up. Nowadays though I can't seem to have enough books around me. I can't seem to read enough of them. I believe I have a thirst for knowledge. I'm always searching out interesting facts and new information.
I also really love music. I don't think I could function if I couldn't listen to some really good tunes on a daily basis.
I love children. I espcially love working with them. Which is a good thing considering my major is Elementary Education. I can't wait to become a teacher. I think that it is the most amazing and rewarding job. I really love teaching. My favorite part is when children just light up once they get something they have had problems understanding before. When everything just clicks and they completely get what is going on. That is just the most amazing feeling, to know that you had something to do with that. It's just incredible.
