About Me

I’m Danny! I’m the drummer for Camorra.

I love drumming, everything about it. I love nailing blast beats and fast footwork! And I love playing shows and jamming!

I study English at Manchester Met Uni and it’s good fun. I also learn Italian in my spare time. Hope to go there some day soon! I enjoy reading a lot of crazy literature, that’s just me! I live in Student Village with the best friends ever! Things get a bit grimy sometimes but I love the lifestyle!

I love music so much. I just bought a new hi-fi which is my pride and joy. I sit in front of it 8 hours a day and listen to a lot of different music. I don’t dismiss anything (until I listen to it, lol).

I miss the old bands I played with and the good friends in them. I totally miss playing in Amends to the Dead and I have such good memories to look back at! Good times!

I read a lot, here's just a few off the top of my head:
The Woman In White
Lord Byron's Don Juan
American Psycho
Heart Of Darkness
The Turn of the Screw
Coleridge's Biographia Literaria
Anna Karenina
Thomas Hardy: The Time-Torn Man
Tess of the d'Urbervilles
Jude The Obscure
The Woodlanders
Gulliver's Travels
Robinson Crusoe
The Sign Of Four
Far From The Madding Crowd
Madame Bovary
War And Peace
Pamela
Gormenghast
The Return Of The Native
The Castle Of Otranto
Northanger Abbey
Paradise Lost
The Picture of Dorian Gray Lorna Doone
Plays are always good (Shakespeare, Behn, Ford) but poetry by Byron, Keats, Shelley, Hardy, Coleridge and Tennyson is better.. :) And I like a book that'll take effort to read, like theory and philosophy in literature, because they usually have the most interesting ideas. Terry Eagleton is the man.
