About Me

I got my musical start playing sax in the elementary school band. I had my heart set on being a drummer, but that would have to wait. In middle school, I learned to play drums. By the time I got to high school, I had tried many different instruments. Through four years of marching band, I played sax, trumpet, quads (on the drumline), and bass guitar (on the sidelines). I picked up the bass for the age old reason that the girl I was in love with when I was 15 told me that she liked it.

I am currently working on a new project, Isis Rain , which I am very excited about. I have played in a variety of bands from funk (Pariah), to pop (Gadfly), to grunge (Flush), to melodic metal ( Born in Winter ) and goth/industrial ( Caustic Soul ). After playing bass guitar for 18 years, I am finally getting around to recording a solo CD. If all goes well, it will finished this year. Check back here for information on upcoming Solo Bass gigs.

Recently, I've been following another passion, composing. I've composed for theater groups, software companies, and radio ( http://www.heartandhomehealing.com/music.htm ). If you are interested in an original composition, contact me and we'll discuss the details.
As if all of that weren't enough, I am in the process of releasing a podcast. This show will be hosted by my alter-ego, Orion , and will focus more on spirituality and politics. Dangerous stuff, I know.
