BIO: Well alot of people dont know that Jovaunte' is originaly from Chicago. Born in Chicago on July 2, 1987. After age 3 moved to Dallas Texas; where he would later develope his love for southern music and accent. He grew up in the nothern part of dallas in a aggressive cut throat enviorment. There were alot of distractions and ways to get in trouble so his mom kept him close to church where Jovaunte' sung and learned to play the saxophone. Music always struck his attention so learning to play instruments and sing was neatless to say easy for him. Although interested in rap music Jovaunte had never rapped before. It was'nt until his senior year in highschool when He picked up rapping. A crew at Jovaunte's highschool had came out with a track dissing Jovaunte' and his crew. So naturaly he responed with a diss track of his own. After he finished the song He noticed that he accually sounded great and for it to be his first time rapping he was better than other artist he had heard before. So from that point on he picked up the ball and ran with it never looking back. Jovaunte' has come a long way since then catching fans attention with his southern lingo and clever punchlines. He definantly sets himself from the rest with his unique swagger, reckless attitude, and flashy chick magnet mantality. He makes music that people love to hear and that get the club poppin.
