After more than 11 years in the music industry, it's time for Uzi to get some recognition. He was born Uzikwendu Tobechi Onunaku in London, England to Chief Ike and Rose Onunaku. The youngest of 5 children, Uzi has 3 sisters and a brother. Raised in Lagos City, Nigeria, Uzi came to America to attend college. After playing soccer for the State University of New York, Uzi left to pursue his music career. With his unique blend of reggae, hip-hop and pop Uzi is carving a nitch for himself in the Dallas, TX music scene. He hopes to reach the world with his music and bring positivity back into hip-hop. With lyrics that catch your attention and make you think, it’s safe to say that Uzi will be in the game for a long while.
