About Me

I am Shay. I am a writer, blogger, and poetess. I play violin and am teaching myself guitar (and I need to learn more than "Twinkle, twinkle little star" already!). I am married to my Best Friend, which I call Ninja. I have an 8 year old son (The Captain), an almost 8 month old son (Baby Love or Ninja-Pirate One Sock), and a huge evil cat (Deli). I also have three little girls (Chloe, Persephone, and Aphrodite) that I never had a chance to hold, that are waiting for me elsewhere.

I have a lot of goals and dreams for myself. I am planning on self-publishing 2 of 4 books of poetry this year. I hope to publish the fiction books I am working on, but through a real publisher. I want to be an extra in a movie. There are a lot of places that I want to visit and re-visit. I want to learn several languages. I want to learn how to ice-skate, snow board, fly a plane, do stunt driving, roller blade, play the piano, play a flute, and play a cello.
