I am me and I am growing...I am rivers and lakes, oceans and fate. I am wise and willing. I am a dreamer an admirer of life. Bettering myself every day...isn't that the only way? Anyhow...I am mad complex in every level but very simple at the same time. I'm blunt and wont sugar coat the truth. I'm down to earth and will probably be the realest person you'll ever meet. For how can something so complex be understood by the masses who simply search for skintight jeans and mini skirts. Tea, Mr. Peppers (wink, wink),volunteering, fighting for the cause, open mics, earthy colors, stone jewelry, independence, originality, loyalty, honesty, Family, friendship, love, romance, beaches, animals, spirituality, the tree outside my window, my doggy Jada, the stars, Different types of culture, Cuba, human rights, traveling, Arroz con bisted...lol, dancing in the rain, making love, laughter, honesty, real Hip-Hop, good old wawanco (Afro-Cuban music), walking in chancletas! Water and lots of water...(not into sodas), salads, sushi, desserts(yummy), watching my grandmother, grandfather and mother laugh, jam sessions, free-styling, comfortable clothing, head wraps, large jewelry, French manicures/pedicures, smiling, singing, writing, reading, dancing, hot showers, flowers, orchids, watching the leaves rustle in the wind, listening to birds sing, the cuddle of my puppy and the truth in her eyes, my Cuban people, my Latin people, my black people...just my people, listening, giving my opinion, offering a hand, skirts, make up, candles, sculptures, African masks, the color green, paintings, art, sunshine, thunderstorms, my mother's hugs, my loyal girlfriends, my dreams, my thoughts, my goals, my business. God and the God in me...just life and living and of course being FREE!

I'd like to meet people with positive vibes, people who love and appreciate music and art. Fun, crazy,w/a sense of humor, sexy, quiet...all kinds. Revolutionaries, united people, open minded people. People who are willing to fight for what's right...people with strength and value. Here we go... REAL Hip-Hop, the likes of The Roots, Mos Def, Talib, Rahzel, Tribe, De La Soul, Pharcyde, Gangstar...I can go on forever. R&B and Soul...Jill Scott, Bilal, Musiq, Badu, Sade, Nina Simone, PortisHead, Amel L., Stevie, Marvin G., Miles Davis, Coltrane, Reggae, Bob Marley, Sizzla, Berres Hammond...etc. Salsa...My Afro-Cuban Wawanco!!! (I'm Latina), some rock...etc.

Movies:

Uhm...let's see, this is a hard one as I'm sure I'll leave some of my favorite movies out...Inventos-Hip Hop Cubano (a documentary on Hip Hop in Cuba...mad fresh you needs to check it out), Kill Bill, City of God, Ghandi, Kumdum, American History X, Adaptation, The Motorcycle Diaries, I am Sam, etc....I also like Independent films. Miami needs one of those open parks, big screen spots where people can go and expand their minds and creativity w/ other creative beings! Oh...and I've been trying to see "What Remains of Us" but since I din't catch it at the film fest. it seems like their not playing it anywhere else. It's a film about Tibet...it's pretty much a documentary...so if one of yall has it or has seen it, hit me up! ;)

Television:

Dave Chappel Show, Oprah, The Boondocks, Family Guy, The Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, etc.

Books:

The DaVinci Code, Che's Biography, The Art of Happiness, Jill Scott's Poetry, Nikki Giovanni's poetry, The Beloved, etc...I have a lot of books...some which I need to start reading already.

Heroes:

My family...no doubt and anyone who has stood for what was right, specially when it was real hard to do so. The people of Sudan and Tibet! The people of Latin America, suffering everyday. Cuba, Haiti...etc. Bless!
