Metamorpha

Metamorpha.com is a web based ministry offering resources, guidance, and community discussions around the topic of the Christian life. We are asking questions about the nature of growth in Christ, about the work of the Spirit in the life of the believer, and about the ways that we can open up more fully to the work of God in our lives. It is our hope that we can help provide a context for this discussion to take place in a safe and healthy way. Our first goal is to help resource people through video, audio, and articles from the leading writers in this area (e.g. Dallas Willard, Richard Foster, etc.), as well as provide a context for an ongoing dialogue about the work the Spirit is doing in our hearts. We hope you will come and check us out!
Who are we?
Metamorpha was started through the brotherhood of Jamin Goggin and Kyle Strobel. After much lamenting about the state of the church, they wanted to raise up a conversation from the grass roots of the Christian faith about what it may mean to walk with Christ and His Spirit in our day and age. Both Jamin and Kyle have a background in New Testament as well as Spiritual Formation, and their desire is to see the church once again take seriously the need to address the spiritual condition of its people.
While much is planned for Metamorpha, the two big events coming up are the future phases of Metamorpha, which includes adding new content (which we do frequently), and two books that have been released from people on our board. Kyle Strobel, one of our co-founders, has just released a book called Metamorpha: Jesus as a Way of Life with Baker Books (see the book section), and Larry Warner, founder of "B" Ministries and on the board of Metamorpha.com has just released a book with Zondervan called: Imaginative Prayer in Youth Ministry.
Since the beginning of Metamorpha, Jamin and Kyle have been surrounded by a great team. With an Advisory Board that has a lot of history and experience in spiritual formation, and a council of Directors who are adding their expertise to the site, Metamorpha.com will be adding more and more direction and personalized content.
