P.O.P is the sound of upcoming generation. Born in Tehran (1987), real name Aria came from a diplomatic family, which moved around frequently. Living in different countries and continents helped P.O.P to learn a lot about different backgrounds and cultures.
The name P.O.P (Prince of Persia) was given to Aria since his childhood. Music was always an important factor in P.O.P’s life. When growing up Aria was into many different music genres and all influenced him to start music himself. Aria is a big fan of hip-hop and his all time favourite artists include Tupac, Eazi-E, The Game and T.I. He also has a great fondness for his Persian culture and loves Persian poetry. With these two elements combined, he can mix his skills with hip-hop style and create a new style of music.
P.O.P is currently working on his debut album “Nasleh Jadid†with the help of different producers and it will feature English/ Persian artists.
