Based in Binghamton, NY, B.L.A. has gone through various on-again-off-again incarnations over a twelve year period. At the heart of the band has always stood Mike Burrell, a music veteran and now promotor. Jim Lomonaco and Matt Murphy hail from the alt/rock band YoLK, also from Binghamton, which has sold over 20,000 albums while on tour in the early to mid-90's. Filling out the ranks is guitar virtuoso and effects pedal madman Phil McGovern.
