I don't really think that anyone checks this anymore but if you do thanks.
I just thought you should all know whats going on.
Basically, we have broken up as a band.
We started when we were just 14/15 years old and it just went from there. I cant really talk for the other guys but i have had some brilliant memories, not just with this band but with the members of it.
We once filled another bands beer bottles with water while they were on stage, we played pokemon for 2 days straight just to see who was a better trainer and got one of our biggest fans drunk on cider, vodka, urine and saliva by fixing a game of cards.
We were all best friends when it first started, Me Jordan and Jim, then shortly after, Harry joined who to be honest, none of us knew but he quickly grew to be a close too.
And thats the way it stayed for a year or so, after which we decided harry would be better to just sing so we brought in another guitarist called Sam Young. With this line up we played various gigs, my personal favourites were the cockpit in January 2008 and then an assembly gig at josephs well in march the same year.
We recorded 2 e.ps, both of which were at the soundmill in Leeds. You can check out some of the tracks on this page and i may upload some others another time.
We took a massive break from around April 2008 until September, after which we came back , with new songs and a new approach to the band, a much more grown up and serious side of us which we thought we didnt have. After a few gigs, Harry just couldnt find time for it anymore so had to leave. We did replace him with a new singer called Jordan Fearnley who was with us for a month or so and played our final Cockpit gig with.
Sadly after this gig things just wernt the same within the band. Its not that i dont like the guys, i love them to bits seriously, they are all still my best friends, but it just didnt feel right anymore. It felt as if the friendship was forced between us and that just wasnt right.
I havent seen any of them since christmas and thats that. Ye i do miss them, i miss the band, i miss the music, i miss playing my drums in a certain way and i miss sleeping in my garage with loads of spiders just so we could sneek out at 2am to egg houses, but thats just life.
I dont whats going to happen in the future, maybe we will play another gig or even start back up, but for the moment this band is at rest. Jordan is just finishing his A-levels then as far as i know going to university to study music. Jim is finishing his course at music college then going to university to become a full on music technician whilst Sam is planning to join the RAF nd im at college leading to me joining the police force.
