Nick Benson was born in France on August 07, 1977. During his adolescence, he learns how to play of various instruments as battery, guitar, bass, and followed 7 yers of music school and musical theory. At 15, Nick decided to devote his time to the mysterious world of electro music.
From 1996 to 2001, Nick Benson made many apparitions on "electro scene". He worked whith famous DJ' S and groups of reputation as Didier Sinclair, daN Ghenacia, Jennifer, ChloÈ, David Maltez, G-Rom, Patrice Strike, Doctorolive, Etnichian, K2R riddim, Rude boy system, Ruda Salska, and to took part in the evenings "Hot Rio Brasil" from the "Queen" Paris, .. the Scorp ª Paris, .. the Folises Pigales ª Paris, .. Le SiËcle ª Le Havre , etc.... During these years, Nick Benson composed electro peces and created an ÈlÈctro-percussion group called "Rising Vibes", which played in serval places and wored on many productions. Then, Nick spent his time in music studios, and worked in collaboration with the British group "Original Blend", made up of Rino Salvatore, Laurent Bihet, and Nick Benson.
Nick is then introduced to Jean Philippe Papin of "Club News Paris" which gave him his chance and suggested him to to publish his productions and to licences and editions them. "Club News Paris" propsed him two solos discs: The first maxi vinyl at the beginning of 2001 composed of "Subway", "Tribal session" and "Double vision" :the label "Morning Sweat". And his second maxi vinyl : "Magic Orient" :the label "Night Clubbers". Patrice Strike and Jean Philippe Papin took part in yhe remix of this title.
It is in 2002 that third maxi vinyl came into the vats. It is entitled "Give me your love" and is remixed by the famous artist, DJ Flex. This production "Club News Paris", from the label "Night Clubbers" made a success, and is well classified on the playlist of many DJ'S.
Nick Benson created in 2003 his own production and edition compagny. He is devoted then to many remixes and arrangements, and produced his fourth maxi solo under the name of "Afro Smoke" and "Funky Flavor" :the label "Night clubbers". This disc is reedited and remixed by Gess Garcia on the label Blanco y Negro in Spain. Then, the edition company "Next Music" gave him yhe advisability to remix "Dick Isaac's" title "BizalÈ". A video clip is then turned by the company "Fokal productions". This disc is edited by JPS Production (Magic system producer).
Nick Benson made then many apparitions on the Parisienne eclectro scene and in foreign countries: gay pride with the banana cafÈ (Paris-2005), techno parade in Douala (Cameroun). He became then producer of "Magnetik" evenings in Paris (1 monthly), and often mixed in the charivari in Rouen, it became resident DJ in Papagayo (Paris), worked in studio in collaboration with DJ Small. Then Nick is devotes to his new electro-acoustic group (2006): "Artfactice".An album is in progress... An album was in progress with Jany McHoney, (« Danelo » du groupe « Jembélatine ») . And Nick Benson start a new passion : « the radio and the TV »
