I was raised in the traditional thrash school, with bands like Exodus, Forbidden, Kreator, Celtic Frost, Sodom, Overkill etc, bands that I still love to death. But as years passed my main interest has became 80's heavy metal such as Gotham City, Angel Witch, Running Wild, Heavy Load, Mercyful Fate and many more. Nowdays it's most straightforward heavy metal from the early eighties. Bands with a typical NWOBHM-sound. But I'm also a big fan of Doom Metal and bands like Mercy, Candlemass, Black Hole.I started to play guitar in a band called The Rövstjaerts which was an unserious project. Later on he started thrashing for real in Profane and Buried Cross, but both those projects crashed for different reasons but Ruthless felt that he didn't want to play modern metal.
