I grew up in Townsville, where I was teased for my love of dance music whilst growing up. I finished school after going to 2 primary schools and 3 high school’s (Yes I was once a disruptive and naughty person) I eventually straightened myself out and went to uni for a few years but discontinued with it for various reasons. I could go back but I think I wasted a few many brain cells lol - maybe one day I’ll go back – It was around this point that I was blown away by, DJ Justin playing on decks at The Bank nightclub(very commercial top 40 crowd).. I immediately asked him if I could learn. Within the first few months I was asked to play at Dance parties such as Veva (the first parties they had in Townsville, in those days the dance scene was small) Now they play dance music in all clubs and have djs that spin records as apposed to using the Nightlife sound systems, omg how Townsville is changing yaya .I was very fortunate to play with Alex k and Jimmy Z back then, they helped me out so much as well as my buddies Justin and Chixy (Troy) . It was 6 months later during the Sydney Olympics that I moved to Sydney not knowing anyone except Jimmy and Alex. I must say it was a weird experience moving( like your existing life has been erased ) Anyhow since then I have played at all my favourite Nightclubs such as – Rogues / NV / DCM / Barstardo / Paradiso. I have also played @ Elevate nightclub (2 year residency) / The Mean Fiddler/ Good Bar/ Embassy and too many Townsville clubs to mention- was placed 2nd in DCM DJ Idol in 2005 after the numerous times DJ Farah played each other(which was so much fun). Other events incude Chicks with Decks @ DCM ,Foxstudio , Kinky under 18s, Elevate under 18s, Icebox comp 4th place 2004,Hugos Lounge, CQ Lounge ,Acardi bar, Clarence Hotel Universale, Gelato,Europa @ Verandah Bar, Chicks with decks @ DCM, Sharkhotel :Atm i do Starbar, Macquarie Ice skating rink, and do various venues for sydney promotion including chocolate city and space.
