Greetings my fellow pagans and welcome to The Circle. Allow me to introduce myself, I am known as Lord Tobis Nebpehtyre, sorcerer of the ancient arts and founder of The Circle. As you can clearly see this is my Pagan name and not the name that I use in public. In my studies of ancient pagan history I have chosen to adopt the tradition of using a different name as to oppose to using my public identity. Like our Pagan ancestors I am both proud and honored to be a Pagan lord, but I am also cautious when it comes to the safety of my family and friends. When I was much younger I was one of the flock and attended church on a regular basis. I did enjoy my experiences with the church and by learning about Christianity it gave me a keen insight to the mindset of the majority of the people in this area. As time passed I found myself questioning the very foundation of my beliefs. None of the church leaders could give me answers and soon became impatient with my inquisitive nature. As I became an adult I decided to study more about history and soon realized alot of history was covered up by centuries of lies. By looking past the propaganda I found out that Pagan beliefs were the foundations of modern day Christianity. To my horror I also discovered that an attempt had been made to purge all evidence of Pagan existence from this earth also known as the Burning Times. By learning the truth it felt like a switch had been flipped on inside me and that for the first time ever I was able to see past the box that was constructed around me. Ever since that day I have dedicated myself to the study of Paganism and now walk a path that is truly comfortable to be on. Even though I am a Pagan sorcerer I have decided to forgive all transgressions that were made against Pagans during the Burning Times, but I will never, for as long as I exist, forget the pain and suffering they endured. I know that no one can live in the past if they want to contribute to the future. It is the future that I look too in the hopes that one day every religion will live in peace with one another. That is why I have decided to create The Circle. A circle is defined as a closed plane curve of which all points are at an equal distance from the center. It is also defined as a number of persons bound by a common tie. This perfectly describes the type of group that is needed for our people. A place that fellow Pagans from different paths can join and exchange information and ideas with one another in the hopes of building a foundation of mutual respect and friendship. Each member is equal in status and is joined together by a common tie. Like I stated before all Pagan paths are welcomed to join, but there is only one thing that I will not tolerate and that is hate. Hate has no useful purpose and is not welcomed here. So I encourge everyone to send word to all Pagans and let it be known they are not alone and they do have allies here. Always remember the words spoken by our beloved Emperor, "As long as one person remembers, the ancient path survives. As long as one person worships truly, the ancient Goddesses and Gods are with us. As long as one person acts with noble spirit, even if they act alone, we are all blessed. Be thou that one."
