Hello. I'm the President of 3rd Stone from the Sun, a music management company in Tokyo, Japan, with several indies labels and exciting bands.There are so many categories and genres of music. Everytime a new, impossible form is created, to the point where you think creativity has reached some limit, something stranger and more experimental is born from it. So many things can influence your musical life.
I decided that I wanted to manage artists as an occupation, and help produce the kind of music that would make rock history. Starting from zero, and making rock history. With that as a goal, and a work motto, I feel that I have a great reason to live. Since 1982, I've been able to maintain managerial relationships with artists who are writing their names into the history books, names like: REBECCA, SUPER JUNKY MONKEY, THEATRE BROOK, KOJIMA, WRENCH, HIGE and BO-PEEP.
The company's style is to work together within a small pool of musicians, because I find this to be the most flexible environment for creativity. Concentration on each individual artist's freedom and expression is imperative. This combination of elements provides the artist with a sure path toward success. We aim to make 'trippable' music; to make people instantly joyful. To see the crowd estatic and happy makes me satisfied. Through working with 3rd Stones' roster of artists, all striving to be standard bearers of rock, I'm helping fans to be estatic and happy.
