About Me

I have just put a new recording up called "Your Strength". I wrote this song with Adam Smyth and it was recorded live at my concert last year! It was written for a friend whose family got some really bad news last year.Exciting news; My song "Life" was recognised as one of the top 100 acoustic songs entered into MusicOz (Unsigned Aria's) this year and my song "I think I love you" was recognised as one of the top 50 acoustic songs entered!Hopefully I will have some gigs lined up in the near future! Hope to speak to you all soon!Love Georgie
“I never write a song just for the sake of it, every song has a meaning, an emotion or a story behind it."
In 2006 Georgia decided that her songs deserved a better audience than her bedroom walls and launched herself into performing and writing. Influenced by Eva Cassidy, Anna Nalick, The Cranberries, George and The Cat Empire. Georgia believes that "a good song requires more than a catchy melody, it needs words and sounds that make the listener feel something" she says "This is what I try to do when writing. I never write a song just for the sake of it, every song has a meaning, an emotion or a story behind it." In December 2006 Georgia’s song “Life” was named as one of the top 100 acoustic songs entered into MusicOz, her song “I think I love you” was named as one of the top 50 acoustic songs entered into the same competition.
Georgia Wilton is a 19 yr/o Singer/Songwriter from Sydney whose music presents simple melodies with poetic, yet real words. Georgia's music career started at the young age of 10 with her first lead role in a school musical. For the next six years Georgia remained committed to many school choirs, rock bands and musicals. In the last year of her high school career she began to teach herself the piano and to write her own songs. At first she used writing as a means to alleviate the stresses of high school and express herself, but it has since grown into a passion and desire to create beautiful music. While music is her passion, Georgia is currently enjoying her last year at the University of Technology Sydney studying a Bachelor of Business/Marketing.
