We must summon the invisible horseman to find our way to El Guapo's

About Me

Despite years of scrubbing with harsh abrasives I am still a kid in an older mans body. I spent my youth basking in the safety that living in the suburbs in the 80's offered. This meant playing outside until after dark, usually forgetting to tell my parents where I was, walking unattended to school, the store, the freeway. I played with fire, rusty nails, biting insects, and paint chips. I ran with scissors, ate glue, thought the sight of my own blood was cool. I ran from the cops, drank to much Coke, watched cartoons until my eyes bled and, if I felt like it, showered on occasion. Now I'm all grown up somehow. I'm happily married with a dog and a house. Though I occasionally run with scissors these days, I have decided that my blood (while still and awesome shade of red) is better left inside my skin, I've tried to make use of this grown up me and try out some things I couldn't do as a kid.I work in the post-production industry in Chicago editing commercials and creating motion graphics. I sit on the board of Split Pillow, a Chicago based film production company. Check us out if you're interested in getting into the film scene. www.splitpillow.com. Since purchasing our first home i've discovered I have a knack for remodeling so i've been trying to do that as much as I can with the hopes having good skills when my mid-life crisis sets in and I have some compulsion to build a pole barn or something. To date I have managed to avoid any major injuries, with the exception of nearly hacking my thumb off with a chainsaw last Summer. So I feel pretty good about that.I'm turning 30 next year and while i've accomplished a lot as a moronic tot I am still trying to figure out how to make milk squirt out of my nose.
