Abagale Fischer is in a class of her own with capabilities delving into every arena of the performance industry. As a DJ, Producer, Singer/Songwriter, and sought after Dancer, her stage presence and innovative performances define her as a born leader. ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ...... Originally from California, Abagale relocated to Florida where she eventually found her home on the dance floor of Orlando's famous Club Firestone. She then began her career as a DJ/Vocalist in the mid nineties, continuing to excel through the pursuit of an Audio Engineering degree from Full Sail. Her father, Eddy Fischer, was one of the early members of the famous 60's band; “The Mamas and The Papas.†Many musical genres have been embedded in her since early childhood, resulting in a vocal style that encompasses soul, blues, jazz and folk, and the ability to customize her voice to the music. ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ......As a singer, Abagale has collaborated with many artists. Namely, Sam Mollison (First in Flight Recordings), one of the most influential voices in dance music to date. She has also worked with countless others including Martin Accorsi (Yoshitoshi/Bedrock) , and Mark Foster(Beyond and Back). Her most recent work, “A.B.E†is an original track engineered and produced by the duo Motive. For this project, she lent her skills as a songwriter and vocalist. Since its' release, the song and it's remixes have attracted much attention and continue to sell out internationally. The song has also been featured on two mix compilations; Chris Fortier's "Audio Tour"(Fade) , as well as Phil K's "Y4K" (Distinctive UK) . ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ......As a performance DJ, Abagale has a passion for spreading good vibes globally. In 2004, she began her tour of the Dominican Republic, receiving a standing ovation at one of her first performances. Shortly after, she became known as the American sensation of that exact same club; Club Abacus of Santo Domingo, known for talents like Anthony Pappa , Steve Lawler , and Danny Howells . She was also one of the first DJ's to tour throughout the entire country. During this time she used her signature sound to slice a permanent mark in a world of dark techno and haughty dance floor etiquette. She was later asked to judge various DJ competitions and was interviewed by two major radio stations. When asked how she felt about the 14 months she spent over there.. she said, “The experience was invaluable. Learning Spanish and living another culture's lifestyle through my music, it all changed me in me so many ways..." ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ...... Many people expressed their gratitude at the end of this tour, which undoubtedly solidified the very conviction that had brought her there to begin with. As of now, Abagale predominantly DJ's on the east coast and holds a monthly residence at 1Front(Brooklyn) called "Melt" with her DJ partner Connie Yin. This night focuses on the rare sounds culminating from the foreign underground and the obscure experimental side of Tech.
