my real name's james but close friends call me jae. i started calling LA "home" when family moved there from the philippines couple years ago. 2 days after high school graduation i started college without really thinking much on what i wanted to do... finished with an associates and a whole bunch of student loans lol.several years passed n i didnt really feel like my life is headed where i expected it to go so i THOUGHT about doing what i've always wanted to be when i was a lil kid.... join the marines. i did some research, talked to several friends in different branch n decided USMC might not be a good idea after all so i decided to do a little more digging and decided to call the CG recruiting office near my area and couple months later i was in boot camp =)i am currently stationed in sector humboldt bay. i cant really say i love or hate being in the coast guard since i havent really been in that long... im just tryng to get a feel of it right now but so far its been good.place kinda sucks since its a pretty small town n there's barely anything to do but so far the people have been pretty cool. i just wish my friends lives here then it'd be somewhat like home but hey im not complaining, i got some coastie buddies =)sister just got the keys for our new house so im pretty excited bout that even tho i've only slept there for not even 2 weeks. feels like im actually accomplishing something.
