It's obvious that personal observations gathered without the aid of instruments are often unreliable and not always reproducible. Therefore they are not of much use in exact sciences like physics and MySpace. It is therefore often necessary to use various instruments like: spectrometers, oscilloscopes, YouTube, cameras, telescopes, interferometers, ImageShack, taperecorders, thermometers, clocks, scales that help in improving the accuracy, quality and utility of the information obtained from an observation. In addition, logic is used to explain observed facts, and mathematics (which is obviously the highest form of logic) is used to model reality in order to accurately predict its behavior in specific important circumstances (usually, models have forms of differential equations solved by computers...but not the computer servers hosting MySpace)........obviously!!
