About Me
Born and raised in London to an Egyptian father and half Chilean half Austrian mother, I was introduced to a lot of culture and more importantly the food that comes with each one, from a young age. Led primarily by my stomach to good food, I get an unequalled pleasure that needs constant supply. I am one of the lucky ones who changes whatever needs to be changed whether it be work, woman, or in one case country, to keep a smile on my face and my heart beat regular.Having reached a crossroads back on Feb 5th 2003, with no plan to do so what so ever, I quit my job of three years on a spur of the moment decision and the next day booked a six-month open ticket to Thailand.Food was always the the priority when passing through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos and having heard for the third time from other travellers about the great steak in Argentina, decided that I'd have to try some for myself! So after six months away from home for the first time in my life, I arrived back to excited family and friends, only to say that soon I'd be leaving for South America.After three months in Brazil, carnivalling and enjoying the fruits of that lovely country I then headed down south to get me some of that "steak". Nearly three years on, I'm now living in Argentina, have learnt Spanish and Portuguese and do a BBQ or "asado" at least once a week.When I'm not eating I'm still enjoying myself whether it be out in the sun, designing, photography or turning up some heavy bass for all my neighbours to bruk out to. I like anything competitive and love to win, and if I'm to believe what others tell me then I'm definitely a winner.Of course I never forget where I've come from, and the incredible people back home. Apart from a lovely family, I was and still am very lucky to have grown up with a big and fantastic group of friends, who after 20-25 years are still there for me as I am for them.I'm told that I'm a typical Scorpio and with that determined, forceful, emotional, intuitive, powerful, passionate (ladies who know Scorpio will know about that..), intense, exciting and magnetic. Oh yeah I also have a typical Scorpio temper and whilst I can be your best friend, you wouldn't want me as your enemy!
