Dj C-Thru is 21 years old and was born and bred in Milton Keynes. He first got interested in mixing at the age of 15 when his friend told him he was going to buy two decks and a mixer, intrigued C-Thru went home to look up on the internet, what where and how you could get hold of these pieces of equipment. After months and months of printing off different photos of stanton decks and mixers (and wishing very hard to be able to find some affordable) he saw in the local paper that there were two decks and a mixer for sale. He borrowed the money off of his parents and it all started from there on in. Working with many different local artists, the one artist who has stuck by him is someone who grew up with C-Thru and that is K-Zee. Along the way they took a lot of criticism and knock backs but neither took it to heart. "i just used all negative comments and criticism as a building block on what to improve on and to get stronger at what i do" says C-Thru. About two and a half years ago C-Thru bought his first personal pc and music production software; Reason, Cubase and a midi keyboard. Again, as with mixing, C-Thru developed his own style by teaching himself and experimenting wherever possible. As mentioned before C-Thru has worked with many local artists in milton keynes such as; Tyker, And wot, imp batch and on point just to name a few. at the age of 21 c-thru is still improving and feels he has what it takes to bring a versatile view point and way of production to a music scene that is improving and growing every day."Trying to make it in this huge scene that is FINALLY establishing itself and being recognised and getting the credit and respect that every man deserves!
