DeadFaceDown was formed from the ashes of Rasclaat and Shades of Animosity around the end of 2005. Every member of this band is brought together by one single unifying goal: To make the most brutal and aggressive music possible. DeadFaceDown, at times, sound like many of their influences ranging from Pantera and Lamb of God to Black Sabbath and The Allman Brothers, creating a style of music that is both abrasive and infectious. With the independent release of their debut album "Appalachian Hymns of Hatred Vol 1" they hope to expand their congregation and spread the Gospel of DeadFaceDown. Hallelujah......Amen. DeadFaceDown has had the honor of sharing the stage with such National Acts as Morbid Angel, Exodus, Arsis, Goatwhore, Chimaira, Dog Fashion Disco, Dying Fetus, Cannae, Clutch, Hatebreed, Primer 55, Karma To Burn, Rollins Band, Stuck Mojo, 420 Monks, Vendetta, HateFist, etc. DeadFaceDown
