About Me

What would you like to know? I'm of Scottish-German heritage. I like most music. I like a lot of different types of movies. I used to read all the time, until about 12 years ago. Now I don't read so much, but I try. My favorite things in life are being creative, having a good laugh, making people feel good, and nature (visually, weather, life). I play the piano by ear, and read a little music; I used to play guitar, but can't so much any more. I also love to sing, but that's not so good anymore either. I'm a survivor of thyroid cancer; that has changed my life. I am married, I work full-time. I have children and grand-children that I love with all my heart.

My Interests

Good question. Oh, you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway! Most of my interests align with people. Listening to their ideas; watching them interact; considering what they mean by what they do and say. That pretty well includes everything in life. So, I guess I'm just facinated by life!
I do like to dabble in graphic arts. I belong to the IMVU 3D chat community, more for the product development than anything. I find I need an end use to motivate my creative juices . . . go figure! Here's my guest avi. "http://avatars.imvu.com/Guest_cemac01" My dev avi is "http://avatars.imvu.com/Badhathairy"

I'd like to meet:

In my everyday life, I just want to meet real people I can connect with and share common interests and observations.Eventually, I would like to meet people I can work with to help make a positive impact on the world around us.Ultimately, I want to meet my maker. But, that is all in due time!

Music:

Big Band (Miller, Goodman); Blues; Acapella; Percussion; Cole Porter; Grand Canyon Suite; Journey; Classical; more to come . . .

..

Movies:

Recent views: I've seen plenty lately, but nothing that really peaks my memory at the moment. That's sad.

Television:

Well, since the writer's strike, it's slow going. But usually, the staples are Gray's Anatomy, House, Scrubs, NCIS, CSI's Vegas & Miami, Men in Trees, Vegas, Big Brother (oh brother!), Survivor, and a host of cooking and home repair, flip's and remodels. Saturday and Sunday are almost exclusively devoted to movie surfing on dish.

Books:

Currently reading: "My Soul To Keep", book number three in the Day of Evil series, by Melanie Wells. "http://www.myspace.com/melaniewells"

Heroes:

Truthfully, there's only one and that's Jesus. But there are many runner-ups.
