I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

Hello, my name's Jason, or as my LAX/Noir family calls me, Iceman. I live a unique lifestyle. I wake up when most people are getting off work and get off as they are getting ready to start their day. Some people go to church on Sunday mornings, I go to a bar and drink to celebrate the end of the work week. While the Vampire like hours may seem odd I have grown to love being a nocturnal creature. I work three stress free days a week at a job I LOVE making enough money to sustain a comfortable lifestyle. Which is why you'll almost always see me with a smile on my face. Speaking of smiles, I am just about as easy going and friendly as they come, but watch out because I will hit you with some really sarcastic, dry humor which some people find offensive. O well.
It may sound a little selfish, but I enjoy flying solo so I don't have to worry about anyone else's feelings, wants, or needs. That doesn't mean I'm not on the lookout for a good wingman. I prefer going out in small groups as opposed to large crowds. I think some of the best times are spent drinking in bowling allies, pool halls, and in people's living rooms. I have the tendency of taking off my clothes when I get really drunk. I'm the kind of guy you can take home to your mother or take home for the night. ;-) I enjoy playing in the rain. When people get hurt, I laugh...then try to help. When bad things happen I try to think of how it could have been worse and then be thankful it wasn't. I guess I'm what you would call an optimistic pessimist. What do I mean by that? I see the glass as half empty (pessimist), but I'm glad because it leaves room for improvement, (optimist). I'm very observant and pay close attention to small details. This means I find happiness in the small things in life that others are too busy to notice; however, unfortunately this also means I'm quick to find flaws as well. I've learned to get through life you have to have skin as tough as a rhino, yet I am still amazed at how much little things, I'll call them the splinters of life, can still hurt. Generally I'm a good judge of character and a tough person to gain approval from. You may make a lasting impression on me, yet be the last to know it because I'm very good at hiding my feelings and plans. I am a big thinker and an over analyzer. Even though I may not disclose it, I always have a plan, both short term and long term.
If I had to give advice on how to live a better life I'd say; Let the little things slide because in a year you will look back and either not remember them or wonder why you let them bother you so much. Smile more because they go a long way. Surround yourself with people that can make you laugh even when you're going through tough times. When someone helps you out or something good happens to you, Pay it Forward. Next time you are stuck in traffic and you're mad because you are going to be late, be thankful you are not involved in the accident that is causing the traffic. When someone apologizes after doing something on accident that pisses you off think about all the times you have done something that accidentally made someone mad and just smile and say "it's okay". When you've had a bad day just think how your worst day is probably better than the best day of people's lives in third world countries.
If you truly want to know more "about me" you need to experience me in person. I can be a little shy at first, but once you get past that you'll have a great time. If that's not possible, subscribe to my blogs and read my bulletins. I express myself best in writing. If you got the time take a look at the quotes I have selected below. Since you have read this far I imagine you got the time. ;-) Myspace Backgrounds

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Seriously though, I'm looking for people that I'd want in my lifeboat. Do you think you are one of them?

I would like to meet some fun energetic people to go on adventures with. I want to do some traveling; go on road trips with no destination in mind, go skydiving again, hang gliding, white water rafting, camping in the middle of no where, climb mountains, go mountain bike riding. I enjoy going out to clubs and bars too, but it just seems to be the same old thing. I guess maybe because I work in one. My goal this year is to be able to tell better stories. Who's with me?

As far as ladies, I am not exactly looking for a girlfriend right now, but you never know who you may stumble across. I would like to meet a girl that looks flawless when she get all dressed up, but can look just as beautiful when she wakes up in the morning without makeup on. More importantly, a girl that is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I want a girl that will play rough and is not afraid to get her hands dirty outside. A girl that enjoys playing in the rain and doesn't let the weather bring her mood down. A girl you can trust when she goes out drinking with her friends. Some one who has goals and is motivated to get somewhere in life, not one who is just looking for a free ride.
