I’m (Tim Steele) still from Texas. I still grew up in Dallas. I still go to Big Bend and the Kerrville Folk Festival. These days, though, I’m in Denton. I play in the Hill Country a lot. Look on your map between Fredericksburg and Johnson City…I’m somewhere between ‘em.
Anything can change, however; this stone still rolls. The music continues to evolve, too. I haven’t changed my style, just expanded the boundaries. I'm now playing with The Day Drinkers, which consists of Jake Dill on Upright Bass, Rex "The Tex Mex" Emerson on Mandolin, Rene Lawrence on Acoustic Lead, and sometimes others. Come check out the new material at a show near you. The influences are still the same : Townes, Guy, Fromholz, Willie, Bob Wills, etc. However, don’t be surprised if you see some company on stage with me. Our new album will be out soon! “Change is inevitable, except from vending machines.†---Confucius

We're taking a brief hiatus to work on new material. We'll be back in full force by the beginning of February. There still could be a show or backyard BBQ -if it's warm enough- jam sometime between now and then.
