My name is Amanda. I started Supporting Soldiers in April of 2005. I got the idea after David, my boyfriend at the time went into the Army. Supporting Soldiers has been finding Soldiers all over the world Pen Pals for more than a year now. We've got a Web site & Message Board. So when you get a chance, drop by. We are hoping to see more Spouses and family members on the Board as well. After all, it isn't just the Soldiers who need the Support. Their families, wives and children are the ones who are left behind to worry and wait. They have to watch their Soldier walk out the door, not knowing when or if, they're going to walk back through it. We are hoping to create a close community for everyone to get together and make new friends. Hopefully bring some sort of peace to others who are going through the same thing.
