Hello everyone reading this. My name is Peter Hernandez Raphael Garry. My email is [email protected]. If you have IM then add me cuz I love talking to my friends on IM. Now where was I. I come from a very small island in the carribean. I was born in the Dominican republic in a little town called Yamasa. I was born with severe club feet. I was also born into a very poor family so they couldn't afford to pay for my surgeries on my feet and hands. I was born with 12 fingers as well. I know it's alittle weird. So they planned on sending me to the united states through a missionary program so that I could have surgery. It turned out that it would be a very long process. Most likely multiple surgeries. So my parents agreed to put me up for adoption. I was adopted by a wonderful family. I lived in oregon for about 7 years. i had about 8 surgeries on my feet and 2 on my hands. The doctors said that they would halfto do quite a few more if I were to continue to have problems and I did. In the meantime, or nicetime whichever, you prefer my dad got a job as a math teacher in hawaii. He was currently teathing math at osu. So we moved there and I had 4 more surgeries on my feet. In an 11 year span of time, while living in hawaii, I went to quite a few schools. I went to malamalama waldorf school for a year, Hawaii academy of arts and science, Waters of life, pahoa high and intermediate, and home school. I didn't make that many friends in the beginning so I joined the hiccup family circus and had a blast. I learned how to ride the normal and 6 foot unicycles, I learned how to walk on stilts, do unicycle tricks, use the diabolo, spin plates, juggle fire, machetes, hammers, clubs, balls, and pass them as well. I learned tons and it was awesome. I met quite a few cool talented people. It was a great time. The schools were still sucking so I asked my mom if i could go to school in oregon where my best friend was attending. Somehow my parents agreed to send me to western mennonite school where I dormed obviously and went to my buddies house on the weekend because flying home to hawaii every weekend was just alittle to expensive even for my family.I met some of my closest friends there. That is my greatest memory of my life by far. I had such a great time there. The people were so great and everyone new me within a few weeks. The school was small which is how I liked it. The people I dormed with feel like my brothers. When you live with people everyday your connection and relationship is much stronger. I wish I were still there to tell you the truth. I attended western during my sophomore year So I have pretty much been away from home since I was 16. I did go home for christmas and summer usually but still. After high school I thought I should take a break before I started college and go do some voluntary service. I found a program through mennonite central committee or mcc to do service in the U.S. It was called service adventure. There were 8 or so choices and I was placed in south bend indiana. I worked with people with special needs in a respite care center and I also worked at a bank that helps people with bad credit and other things that other banks wouldn't do. I had a wonderful experience doing that. After that I moved back to oregon. I tried to go to linn benton but it didn't work out financially. I found out that I am not a citizen yet so now I am just working at the osu horticulture department and living in a real cool house in philomath. I am currently taking ballroom dance classes 2 times a week at osu. It is tons of fun. I am an outgoing brotha once you get to know me. I am a very animated person and love to immitate and impersonate singers,actors and cartoons. I love playing sports. I play all of them but my favorites are in order. Basketball,volleyball,soccer,football,and baseball. One of my favorite things to do is just hang out with friends, quote movies, lip sinc, immitate famous singers, and make up jokes. i love meeting new people so don't be shy stop on by and say hi to this guy. oh i also like to rhyme.
