Xavier Jordan was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee as a part of the Tabernacle of Glory Baptist Church, formerly Pilgrim Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. While there, he gave his life to Christ and joined the youth choir when he was five years-old. At the age of ten, Xavier began singing in the adult choir which later gave him the courage to start singing solos. Two years later the music ministry then came under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Miree and Xavier started singing with the praise team which later gave shape to the group Voices of Glory. He continued to sing in the Voice of Glory for several years singing at concerts, conferences, workshops, and in live recordings. At fourteen, Xavier auditioned for and began high school at the Nashville School of the Arts in August of 2003. After he discontinued his union with Voices of Glory, he later changed his church membership to the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee under the leadership of Bishop Joseph W. Walker III. While at Mt. Zion, Xavier joined the youth praise team and youth choir which is now known as Judah Generation. He later joined the Ministry of Next Level in his sophomore year at NSA. He also sung in the NSA Gospel Choir and later became an alternate for the Mt. Zion Praise Team. At the age of fifteen, Xavier auditioned and began taking lessons with Tray Simmons and Paul Ballenger of Bravo Voice Studio & Artist Development. At the age of eighteen, he graduated from Nashville School of the Arts and is now a 20 year-old sophomore at Alabama A&M University. He is currently a member of Majesty, Alabama A&M University Choir, Alabama A&M Gospel Choir, NACGC (National Assiociation of Collegiate Gospel Choirs), Impact Movement, and the Trendsetters Club. Xavier Jordan wishes not to only reach the adult crowd but also teach the young saints of God to praise and worship the Lord through song.Click the navigation buttons to find out more!
