independent
records since the early 1990s. He proceeded to develop his skills over
the
years thru aggressive hard works at mastering his craft. The under
ground
scene was a buzz when Lazy_I did a promotional event for BARBITO² and
³STRETCH ARMSTRONG² on the radio station 89.9-FM in New York City.Since then, Lazy_I has appeared on numerous radio shows, even free
styled
alongside respected names of the craft as ³BIG L² and ³PERCEE P².
During the
mid-ninety(s), Lazy_I had released his Under Ground hits on Vmax
Records.
The first of those was ³SCARY THOUGHTS² which originally was released
on
Freeze/Priority Records. ³IT¹S OVER² released on VMAX RECORDS followed
³SCARY THOUGHTS² in 1996. Technical highlights included the neatly
arranged
and beautifully polished production of SHAZAM X. Sometime later,
Lazy_I, who
was then known as ³S.L.D.² (Sick Lyrical Damager) released ³RESPECT
COST
MORE THAN MONEY² with Percee P, also on VMAX RECORDS. Lazy_I eventually
ventured to higher heights and made tremendous positive leaps, much so,
that
he has formed his own record label namely, ³Makin¹ Millz
Entertainment.² The
first single on his new label was a song of the very title. The song
³Makin¹
Millz² was backed by another single, ³Everybody² which featured a guest
vocal appearance by the chocolate female Rapper sensation ³CHOCLATT.²
Ears
are soothingly massaged by CHOCLATT¹s velvety vocal style.In the year 2002, Lazy_I completed the remake of the song track
³RESPECT
COST MORE THAN MONEY² for Hoolagan Pictures¹ ³The Home Boy² which was
directed by Dave Gebroe and is now available on DVD. Since the release
of
his Independent offerings, Lazy_I s records have been heard on radio
stations in Paris, Japan, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, of course, New
York
and his latest performances on Taiwan¹s Super Star Ailing¹s chart
toping
album ³Love¹s Foolishness² in 20003/2004, on Virgin Taiwan Records .
Lazy_I
has also continued performing through out the United States in schools
with
noted dignitaries as Champion/Hall-Of-Fame Boxer Roy Jones Jr. and
Radio/TV
Personality, Big Tiga of B.E.T. & Power 105.1 FM radio in NYC; at
outdoors
concerts, recently, Roy Wilkins Park in Queens NYC, an event hosted by
Infinity Health Group and more.Lazy_I has recently completed his full-length album which contains some
seventeen songs, two HD Music Videos (one for the featured hit single
³GOD
SAID² and another for the Bonus Track ³Y¹ALL GONNA MOVE²) and has
commenced
working on other musical projects as he remains teamed up with SHAZAM X
and
other Producers for some of the productions. He has also maintains his
alliance with the Producer/Composer referred as New York¹s best-kept
secret,
³JIMMY PHINGAZ.² The still unsigned Lazy_I will entertain all
respectfully
legitimate record deal proposals of all record labels¹
Executives/Representatives. He is fully able, willing and ready to
sign
with any record label that would pose such prospective initiatives.
