About Me

I was born and raised here in Charleston,SC. I started to play the guitar when I was 11. I was into all that rap and punk rock stuff back then. But when I was 12, my dad took me to a Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert, and after that show, I was hooked on the blues/rock music. I wanted to play just like Kenny. And then, I started to find out about other artists such as Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Freddie King, and so on. My dad and I started to going to alot of concerts. We went to a Scott Holt show, and we talked to him before the show and my dad told him about how I play guitar and all and then in the middle of the show, Scott came off of the stage and handed me the guitar!! I played and he invited me back to play with him next time he came.I reporter did an interview on me and Scott, and it made it into a magazine!!!! It's just a local mag called Performer Magazine, but it is really cool! Scott taught me alot, and I hope to be jamming with him again soon!! Come back to Charleston, Scott!!! There was a local blues guy that came to the Scott Holt show that night named Tommy Thunderfoot. Tommy watched me play and he invited me to come play with him one night. I showed up to one of Tommy's concerts and had my gear and he asked me to play, so I did. He let me play the whole show! I was up there with them for 4 hours. After that, I started comming to all of their shows. I love to jam with them. If you ever have the chance to see Tommy and his band, then you should definately go! Tommy plays the guitar like a god. He is very underated if you ask me. I have also been on stage with other artists such as Guitar Shorty, Robert Randolph, Duwayne Burnside, and some other local blues bands. I am 14 years old now, and I play in alot of places around town, with different bands. I'm in Tommy's band now and Im loving it. He teaches me so much and I practice all the time to try to keep up with him. So anyways, if you ever wanna come check out the band, then go to www.tommythunderfoot.net and check out the concert dates.I will be at all of the Tommy Thunderfoot shows. As for Scott Holt, he plays all around the world, so he only comes to Charleston every once in a while, but here is his site if you wanna travel to see him- www.scottholt.com I will be at Scott's shows when he is here in Charleston. Hope to see yall at some shows!!peace, Sarah Cole
