Hi. I'm Trav. My friend Sean and I have been building a monster in my basement for three years now and I have chosen this time to reveal it to the world. Ladies and Gentlemen...I am very proud to introduce my attempt at my own business: Istari Studio.
Sean and I are going to try this studio thing as a part-time word-of-mouth experiment and we'll see how it goes. Here's the deal...we couldn't afford a regular studio...so we built our own. Then Sean went bonkers and bought tons of pro gear. Then we got pretty good at using and understanding this stuff. So now we can record. I gotta tell ya...I think it sounds great. We are reasonably priced, we are both musicians so we "get it" and I make a MEAN pot of coffee. So we are the logical choice for recordings in or around the Lehigh Valley.
Ok, seriously....we just got finished recording our first band that we have no part of, so we are official now. So now we can say we have actually done this before.
We are pc based, multi-track and utilize Cubase as our primary application.
We have worked on recordings for Solid State Records, Open Grave Records, Red State Records and Portable Face Productions.
We have worked with such bands as Becoming the Archetype (Atlanta, GA) My Brother the Woodmaker (now in Olympia, Washington), Soulstice (SoLeHi, PA) and End of Destiny (St. Louis, MI)......and we are just getting warmed up.
