Steve became a member of the band after being introduced to the rest of the band through original band member Pete Willis. Steve was known for his amazing guitar riffs and was given the titles of "Steamin" and "The Riffmaster". Steve died during the "ADRENALIZE" session after a long battle of alcoholism. He will always be remembered by the fans and through his masterful contributions.

On October 23, 1994, Def Leppard broke the world record for concerts in a day. Starting at midnight in Africa, the marathon tour finished late at night halfway across the globe in Canada, with England thrown in for good measure.
