Building on the success of their promo single "Hey Lady", (which reached number 2 in the Choice FM charts and stayed there for a further10 weeks), B.K.S are in the middle of recording their debut album.
From humble beginnings in a studio in the heart of North West London, Best Kept Secrets contain within their ranks the talent to write, produce and perform their authentic and catchy blend of RnB, Hip Hop & Soul, to hold audiences captivated and begging for more.

Who are Best Kept Secrets?
MAK FLOSS
A talented musician, Mak Floss is responsible for much of the production on BKSs album. Always making a marked contribution to the groups collective penmanship, his easygoing vocals bring a sense of cohesion to their harmonies. Mak Floss began to sing at the tender age of 6, where he was given his first taste of the lime light singing in church. "I was born into a musical family so I couldn't escape it". After the passing of his father at the young age of 14, Nathan aka "Floss" had to grow up fast but lost the passion and drive for music. As a result he put all his time and energy into football and sports. As he progressed in his football, he began to see himself as a future football star, but that was all about to change. At the age of 16 he sustained a groin injury which shattered his football ambitions and his confidence. Music then started to creep back into his life, but not as a singer, but as a producer. "I started putting down my ideas onto computer and everything just took off from there". Even though he enjoyed football, he couldn't hide his feelings for music any longer. "I loved music and I knew that music loved me".
Mak Floss (now a professional sound engineer/Producer/Songwriter) has produced and written songs for a host of U.K underground artist such as Big Boss Records, Northwest side Entertainment, Shlepp Records, Smudgy, Lil Miz K, Jeromeo, Melody, Smackdown Family and Exodus.
TONEO
So called because his soulful tone has the ladies going weak at the knees! The third member to join BKS, adds great dimension to the the emerging unique BKS sound. Growing up in the heart of London, Toneo recognized an underlying gift within himself (as did others around him), which would eventually lead him to embark on an incredible and inspiring journey. Singing since the tender age of 10, Toneo has been dedicated to developing his talents and continuously strives to grow in his ability to sing, perform, write produce and entertain.
Prior to joining BKS, Toneo broadcasted his talents at festivals, radio station appearances, show cases and TV appearances. As a singer/songwriter and co-producer, he is a hugely talented and gifted member of BKS . His influences derive from legends such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Boyz II Men, through to modern successors, Jagged Edge, Brian McKnight and Mariah Carey.
Despite his tough exterior/presence, Toneo has a surprisingly diplomatic and calming influence over his fellow group members. Toneo is affectionately known as the "Teddy Bear" of the group.
KISS
As founding member along with Mak Floss, "Kiss" makes an impressive contribution to the groups choreography and his skills as a harmonizer have helped build the groups reputation for seamless vocals. Jaia a.k.a "Kiss" was born in London, England. He first found out his talent for singing in primary school at the age of six during morning seminars, but did not think anything much of it because of his shyness. This all changed at secondary school on a school trip to France when he tried to impress a girl he liked, and was told by her and others on the trip that he had a very high, soft and angelic voice. From that moment on, he started honing his talent for singing and dancing, listening to various artists such as Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Maria Carey, Kut Klose, Phil Colins, Arrested development, Boyz ll Men, H Town, Jodeci and Guns N Roses.
His love for music originated from his father Joseph who has come to pass (may his soul rest in peace), this incident really affected his focus but over time regained himself, refocused and became even more confident in achieving his goals as a very talented singer/song writer and dancer. In his spare time "Kiss" enjoys, going to the gym, which the female fans of BKS thoroughly appreciate.
