Dance and art educator and artist born and raised in Brooklyn. I now reside with my amazing partner (he's #1 on my top friends) in Woodside Queens, NY.
Trying to learn what makes this World revolve and why. First, I learn about my identity and stand in and with it. Then, I teach what I understand about the world thus far, using my identity and knowledge.
I teach because I want us all to understand that the civil rights movement didn't end in the late 1960's; that the Stone Wall Riots was a real war between the heterosexual and homosexual communities; that I have more rights in South Africa, a country that recently came out of a revolution, than I do here in the United States of America. Ain't that some sh*t?! This may be a home for the brave, but its not a land of the free!!!
