The Steelmill is a metal television show screening on C4 Music Television, New Zealand. C4 Music Television is one of five national free to air television channels in New Zealand. C4s programming consists of music as well as youth orientated programmes.Screening in the early hour of 1-am Saturday morning The Steelmill is C4s darkest hour of the hardest videos. The show aims to present the most recent videos from the big names in metal plus classic clips from the innovators of the genre.Heavy metal, Death metal, Black metal, Power metal, Thrash metal, Speed metal, Grindcore, Mathcore, Hardcore, Deathcore, Screamcore, Industrial, Goth, Wall of Noise, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and the New Wave Of American Heavy Metal. There is no favouritism of style in an attempt to present metal in all its forms.Started in March 2005 The Steelmill was the answer to the cry from legions of metal fans in New Zealand who believed they were being under catered for in the realm of music television. It now has a loyal cult following watched by many a person who professes that it is the only thing they watch on TV.The Steelmills aim is to help promote and support metal musicians and artists in an attempt to garner acceptance in the industry along side all other musical genres.Keep the metal alive.Steve Hogg
