About Me

The Driftwood Band , A.K.A. Jimmy Driftwood and his Legendary Sidemen, is a group of local veteran musicians that first performed together in 2006. The Driftwood Band blends the diverse musical experiences of its members to put a new spin on a traditional bluegrass tune or a thoughtful arrangement of the many original tunes written by bassist Phil White. Elements of bluegrass, country, Americana, blues and jazz find their way into covers of artists from Hank Williams and Johnny Cash to Lyle Lovett, Dylan, The Grateful Dead, and even the Rolling Stones.

The Driftwood Band provides an all occasion experience that will leave you wondering where the time has gone.
