NEW MYSPACE LAYOUTS!After Shiloh Hockman completes his degree in Professional Flight, he intends to move to L.A. and work as a flight instructor while recruiting band members and pursuing a career in music with them. He has carefully laid the ground work, paying special attention to writing songs with extraordinary potential. The hope is that the new band will be able to write new parts and professionally record many of these "blueprint demos" in a studio environment to bring out their potential.
"I took the demo for Turning 21 in to be critiqued by American Idol producer Derek Bramble at Expression College in October of 2007, and after they played it, he was like 'who IS this guy.' He told me 'spend $200 to put drum tracks put to that and it will be well worth it.'
"The name, jamie blue sky, comes from meeting my two half brothers, Jamie Blue Dunbaugh, and Hunter, a month after my brother died on the road home from leave in the army. I was adopted and had never met anyone related to me, and the name implies that where there's a bad experience, good ones are around the corner. His death has inspired me to make the best of this life by reaching for the sky, not settling for anything less."
