My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Also a big shout out to Larimie Garcia for the badass graphics in "The Boys' and Girls' Guide to Getting Down", Enrique who cut the film and raised most of the money, and to everyone who had faith and invested. The film premiered on Showtime this week, so it was nice to see it on TV.Today (May 10th) I finished writing a companion piece called "Hollywood Sex Wars". It's a comedy about a group of guys in Hollywood who take douchebag classes so that they can learn how to get up on hot Hollywood chicks. It's origianl, intelligent, completely real, stylish and balls out funny. We made a lot of mistakes when making and selling "Boys' and Girls' Guide".By going through that I learned how to make money on an indie films.I need to rasie $500 000 to make this new film. This includes $300 000 for production (and it will look super pro), $100000 for a couple of stars and $100 000 for a viral marketing campagin, website and PR campaign. (lots of this we do ourselves - my partne Enrique and I both come from an advertising background).I now have good relationships with Blockbuster/Netflix/Showtime etc so can sell directly to them, cutting out the distribution company middle man.At that price, it's very easy to turn a profit. If you, or anyone you know, might be interested and fancies becoming a movie producer, let me know and I'll send you the script.

Music:

Below is spot I wrote and directed for MADD. Check out the hand action of the guy on the extreme right of frame as soon as we it cuts to the prison rape scene. To the right is the trailer for my film "The Boys' and Girls' Guide to Getting Down".

Movies:

BARBIE & KEN

Television:

Prison Break, BattleStar Galactica, The Wire, The Office, Ugly Betty Best Week Ever. I am proud to live in a country that makes such great TV shows.Europeans think that most Americans are dumb. It's ironic. This country holds more patents than any other. And people in Europe only talk shit until they want to stay with you in NY or LA - then it's a different story. I am from England and love that country, but the United States is my home and I am grateful for it. You should be too.

Books:

Any Sci fi or fantasy, especially Salvatore, Orson Scott Card And true crime, the more gruesome the better.

Heroes:

My mum and Dad and Dennis Prager. Bones for investing in my film, without reading the script, and Jonny Nixon for hooking us up while we were shooting. Jonah Goldberg for his clarity of thought and fearlessness in the face of liberal mediocrity. Political correctness encourages us to value what we "should" think over opposed to what we "do" think, and I have a bit of a problem with that.
