Cernunnos (pronounced Kur-nun-noss) is the Celtic (or pagan) god of the woods. Sometimes shown as a human body with a stag's head and sometimes, as in our patch design (shown left), a bloke with horns - hence his other title of The Horned One.
Cernunnos Motor Cycle Club was formed in 1996 by a small band of people with a number of common interests.
Our present members ride in from Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire. The rides we currently have include BMW, Harley Davidson, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, & Honda. These include trikes, sidecar combos, cruisers, naked standard bikes, & sports bikes. The first step to becoming a member is to come to a meeting .
We meet on Wednesday evenings at the Robin Hood P/H , Clifton Reynes, near Olney in the north-east corner of Buckinghamshire, England, Britain, Europe, Earth.
And because we like doing rallies (& parties, & attending bike shows, etc.) we organised our own rally - the Mabon trad rally .
We also have a page on Facebook…
Cernunnos MCC is affiliated to N.A.B.D., which are the initials for the National Association for Bikers with a Disability. They provide all kinds of support for those riders (existing or new) who want to get on the road after accidents or illnesses. Their website can be found at www.nabd.org.uk or you can phone them on 0161 480 3380 or email them on [email protected]
* I'm sure that most people are aware, but to be absolutely clear, that being a MySpace Friend does not mean that you are a member of Cernunnos MCC
