While in college at Baylor University, Baylor met up with K.B., also from Abilene. Baylor joined K.B.'s group, the "BU Allstars," and started taking music a little more seriously.
Baylor grew as an artist and became increasingly tired of the "fake" in hip-hop and all the "actors" which led him to start a movement of "real music."
In 2004, Baylor launched the "Really Real Entertainment" Music Label.
Baylor has released numerous mixtapes most notably "Baylor Barbee presents The Hardway" and "Really Real Life Volume 1: The Movement." He has also been featured on DJ Switch's "City Of Lean" and "Abilene Representaz Vol. 2" to name a few.
Also, my new book "Rhythm and Poetry: From Lyrics to Stanzas" Will Be available here and on BaylorBarbee.com very soon, hit me up for details about that.
