Band Members: I am a Newlywed with a lot of inspiration. I usually play solo but My Husband, a drummer, and I would like to team up and maybe throw lyrics into the equation. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens... things like that just have to happen on their own. I go through dry spells... you know life happens, and I will go a period without playing and then sit down and soo many wonderful sounds will flood from my fingers. I play the best when I have a heavy mind.
Influences: I am influenced by so much... everyday life mostly.. To me there is always a reason to create music.... Whether it be because you are happy or angry... whatever the emotion its a great reason to create. Other songs will also influence me. There is one in particular that will forever always be in the back of my mind. Its called Worlds apart by Jars of Clay. To me it sets such a heavy mood and can be taken the same with every emotion... to me that is the most beautiful combination of words and music I have ever heard, and I hope to one day create such a piece that someone can say the same about.
Memories are inspiration to me... I can match a song to almost every memory I have ever had. a good example is that song I Go Back by Kenny Chesney. There is a song that will take you back in time almost.... if you let it.... again, I hope that one day people can listen to something I play and remember a time before the present.

Sounds Like: My sound depends on the mood I am in. It is safe to play Classical... everyone will like it. They are pretty familiar to the sounds and the songs so they can enjoy it. But what I enjoy playing the most would be contemporary mellow music. There are so many directions you can it and it can be so unpredictable. There is an audience for all music and I think that even the most hard core rocker can appreciate the music of a pianist. I like to add whimsical sounds to the piano, makes it a little sultry, soft and inviting. I have a friend that describes my music as "feel good." It was a nice compliment...While I enjoy that ragtime sound I cannot play it. I don't know if it is a mental thing or not but for some reason I cannot do it ...... yet! One day I hope to tackle that.
