Also, thanks to the newest MySpace Player, I was able to find some YES music to add to my profile--BY the actual group! YES music is not that easy to play, as I've seen some of the sheet music on other sites, and I about did a double take on the keyboard parts.
But I am not about to let a challenge stop me from learning my favorite music by Yes! Especially now that I DO have a guitar--recently purchased as of late April. And yes, Jon was the source of my wanting to pick up the instrument again. My practice times are sadly haphazard, as I work the swing shift at a nearby casino, but I manage to get in at least 3 1/2-hr sessions a week.
Oh, yeah, and I just managed to order "Tales From Topographic Oceans." I can sum it up in four words:
GORGEOUSLY. TRIPPY. AS. ANYTHING!!!!!!!!! o_O
Yeah, you could say I like it. But more accurately, I love it!!! If Jon's first major master-work was "Olias," then "Topographic," to me, is its Yes-based counterpart. Okay, so "Olias" came after "Topographic," but since time is an illusion, anyway...does it matter? ;-)
