It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. I am an extremely compassionate person and it breaks my heart to see others in all parts of the world suffer, particularly innocent victims of senseless violence. I try to surround myself with people who are always willing to make sacrifices to help those less fortunate and never expect anything in return. These people truly understand the meaning of gratitude and they make the world a better place. "Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life so. Aim above morality.
