Is an extremely talented young man. With the titles MC/Producer firmly under his belt, Ragz can be best described as an artist. Hailing from North London Ragz has always had an interest in music and began his career producing at the tender age of 13. He produced his first beat and decided he want to do the vocals on it himself so 6 months into producing Ragz became an MC additionally.
Ragz’s music started as fun, he always had a keen ear for music and decided to try it out himself one day and from then on he never looked back. His main influences come from Garage and R’&’B but also is extremely inspired by Motown, Indie and Funky House and has an eclectic collection of music spanning over decades of various different artist and genres.
At the age of only 16, Ragz still has a lot of time to blow up in the world of music as he has a lot of raw talent to offer so my guess is this will happen very soon. He has produced beats for various well known Grime MC’s including: Black the Ripper, Remson, Chipmunk, Double S, Chaos, Sleezy and many many more!!!
Ragz is still currently in full time education but plans to take his music as far as he can, and will continue his studies to pursue his dream of music through college and onto university.
To date Ragz has both produced and featured on many underground hits; most popular being 'Get Up And Dance' which also featured his current label mate 'Shadow'. He has a 2 Promo CD releases called 'My Views Vol 1' & “My Testimonyâ€. he also was involved in a joint E.P. vinyl release of 'Magic Circle Ft. DJ Garna Hecktik, Blackjack and Ts7'.
In his music Sargent Ragz’s lyrical content discusses and explores the world he lives in, the issues he faces daily and some of the things he has witnessed from living in London both good and bad!
Ragz joined Mini Kingz in early 2008 and is now working on his first offical release entitled 'The After Effect' which will surely propel him to the forefront of the UK music scene.
