Musicwise growing up 8ball & MJG, Raekwon, Slick Rick the Ruler aka MC Ricky D aka my favorite rapper of all time, Outkast, The Roots, Black Star, Boot Camp Clik especially Smif n' Wessin, Biggie, Tupac, '95-98 Fat Joe, stop playing the whole 95-98 hip hop era. That joint was crankin for a minute. Ya'll remember Flava 1580?! I was blown when they cut that. Last and not least, the most under-rated emcee, in my book, of all time........Heavy D. I'm from Prince George's County and the sound up here is Go-Go so, Rare Essence, Northeast Groovers, and Backyard Band had an influence on me as well.
Passionately impacted by groups such as Commissioned, Fred Hammond and the Radicals For Christ, and Kirk Franklin. As I grew stronger in my faith I came to appreciate the music of Don Moen, Ron Kenoly, Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin (whats up too by the way bro.), Israel and New Breed.
Musically, I acquired a taste for anything out the box, people like Miles Davis, Mos Def, Common, Chris Dave, Dave Koz, I'm a jazz lover now.
