Distance is only an obstacle, hardly a match for a miracle

About Me

I am a friendly midget. No really, I am. I just made the cut by an inch, so technically I'm the world's tallest midget. I could still get a handicapped parking sticker, though. I drive a mobile showroom for a living, and I must admit I look pretty ridiculous doing it, but I get paid to basically travel the US and Canada. I'm okay with looking like a fool for that. I love laughing and spending time with good friends. I love music. I love traveling. I love the fact that combining the three aforementioned activities has led me to meet wonderful people across the country who have helped shape the person that I am today. I love that I was able to go on tour with Anything But Joey for 3 1/2 months and Fall Out Boy for a month. I love shopping. I love that I can be a girly girl one day and a total dork the next. I love the fact that I take nothing for granted. I love not being afraid to try new things. Sometimes the best comes from change. I love being a fiercly loyal and honest friend, and I love getting the same in return from my friends. I love stilettos and skirts and pretty makeup. I also love sweatpants and t-shirts. I love learning more about what interests me. I love sarcasm and humor. I love moonlit walks on the beach and candlelit dinners.... wait, no I don't. I love being independent and on my own. I hope someone out there will be a good fit eventually, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. I don't love hypocrites or people that use others. I hate bees, and would punch one in the face if given the opportunity. And I hate rush hour traffic, even though I love driving. The iPod is the greatest invention ever.AIM - Misicat (but tell me who you are and how I know you first, otherwise I can be quite the bitch, as I hate creepy internet prowlers).

Settling Down, or Just Plain Settling?

Have you ever taken apart the phrase "settle down?" Honestly, it has the worst connotations I can think of. To settle is to assume that there's something better out there, but you're just too tired or...

Dirty, Rotten South, and How I Got There...

I hate Georgia in the Springtime. I hate Georgia in the Fall... Okay, maybe not all of Georgia. But definitely the back woods section I am currently in. I have honestly never seen more confederat...

Keep on Truckin'... Or Not...

So, it's been a pretty good few weeks. New Years was awesome. I saw a great old people fight at the Golden Nugget, some good bands, some bad bands to make fun of. Consumed lots of drinks (Ba...

Obligatory New Year's Survey

2007 survey...1. Will you be looking for a new job?I don't think so - not sure though. Supposedly this "tour" will end in Novemberish, and I will then be moving up in the company. They treat me really...

I'm Not Dead

I've been out on this job for over a month now, and I can't believe how quickly time has flown by. I've seen so many great things across this country, including: Santa riding a dildo on top of a dinos...

Boston Bum Bastards

The good news is I'm finally out of Eau Claire, WI. Cowboys and small towns for 5 1/2 weeks are no good. Spent a night at home and saw some friends briefly, then headed to Toronto for our "work/drive"...

Philosophies of an Insomniac

It is currently 5:00 AM and I have been up for the past hour. Even before that, I haven't been sleeping well. Too much on the mind, and too many things to analyze and over-analyze. Maybe I'm right, an...
